Hamdan Bin Mohammed Reviews Progress of Al-Amradi Valley Project and Approves Housing Package Worth 2 Billion Dirhams

On Wednesday, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai’s Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense, inaugurated the housing project in the Wadi Al Amardi area. During his visit, he reviewed the progress of various housing initiatives and approved a comprehensive housing package valued at over 2 billion dirhams.

He stated, “Today, I inspected the housing projects in the Wadi Al Amardi area and explored the details of a range of new housing developments that include more than 1,100 residential units. These are distributed across four key areas: Wadi Al Amardi, Al Awir, Hatta, and Oud Al Muteena, with a total value exceeding 2 billion dirhams, as part of the citizen housing programs in Dubai.”

Furthermore, he emphasized the adoption of contemporary housing designs aimed at meeting the aspirations of Emirati families, set within an integrated urban environment. The new projects will offer all essential elements for a dignified life, including advanced infrastructure, quality services, and complete community facilities.

Sheikh Hamdan affirmed that these initiatives reflect the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. He praised the efforts of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment team, stating, “We commend the work of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment team. The comfort of citizens and the stability of their families remain our top priorities, and we will continue to work according to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s vision to always achieve the best for our nation and its people.”

During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan listened to a presentation from Omar Hamad Bushhab, Director-General of the Land and Property Department and Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment. The presentation detailed the models of homes being constructed as part of the project, which are designed according to the highest architectural and engineering standards to provide a comfortable and sustainable living environment that addresses the needs of Emirati families regarding privacy and quality, alongside integrated infrastructure and supportive services.

The housing projects include 1,163 residential units distributed across multiple areas in alignment with urban distribution plans in the Emirate of Dubai. Specifically, there are 432 units in Wadi Al Amardi valued at 767.9 million dirhams, 398 units in Al Awir valued at 734.1 million dirhams, 213 units in Hatta valued at 508.5 million dirhams, and an additional 120 units in Oud Al Muteena valued at 113.8 million dirhams.

These housing projects embody the government’s aspiration to provide modern residences that meet the needs of Emirati families within an integrated urban setting, ensuring the highest quality of life as per the strategic objectives outlined in the “Dubai Social Agenda 33,” which emphasizes support for citizen housing and the highest standards in housing projects designated for them.
