Hamdan Bin Zayed Commends the Efforts of the Community Development Authority in Enhancing Quality of Life

Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler of Abu Dhabi in the Al Dhafra region, welcomed a delegation from the Department of Community Development at Al Nakheel Palace in Abu Dhabi. This meeting was part of his ongoing efforts to oversee the government initiatives aimed at enhancing social development and improving quality of life in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan was briefed on the key initiatives and projects being carried out by the department in the Al Dhafra area, focusing on family support, community empowerment, and strengthening social cohesion. He praised the department’s role in developing social policies and implementing programs aimed at enhancing quality of life and achieving sustainable community development.

The Sheikh also learned about the latest updates on the activation of family care initiatives, as well as the achievements made in fostering a safe and supportive environment for children and young adults. Additionally, he received insights on the “Namo” program, which aims to enhance the stability and unity of Emirati families, aligning with the leadership’s vision for achieving sustainable social development and ensuring quality of life for citizens.

The meeting further highlighted recent developments in the “Mudeem” initiative, a component of Abu Dhabi’s strategy for family well-being. The program has seen increasing interest from young Emiratis preparing for marriage, reflecting a growing societal awareness of the importance of adopting a balanced and simple lifestyle.

The initiative’s goal is to build stable and happy families equipped with knowledge and skills, offering a range of services targeted at youth, engaged couples, newlyweds, families, and parents. This support aims to alleviate the challenges faced by those preparing for marriage while reducing their financial burdens.

Consequently, it promotes family cohesion and stability and strengthens community ties. The delegation from the Department of Community Development expressed their gratitude to Sheikh Hamdan for his continued support of community development efforts, affirming their commitment to enhancing social services and initiatives in the Al Dhafra region and throughout Abu Dhabi.
