Hamdan bin Zayed Performs Eid al-Adha Prayer at the Martyrs Mosque and Welcomes Well-Wishers at Zayed City Council

This morning, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region, attended the Eid al-Adha prayer at the Martyrs Mosque in Madinat Zayed, located in Al Dhafra.

Joining him for the prayer were Sheikh Yass bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and several senior officials, including Nasser Mohammed Al Mansouri, the Secretary of the Office of the Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra, along with a large congregation of citizens and residents.

Imam Baty Mohammed Al Mazrouei led the prayer and delivered the Eid sermon, emphasizing that Eid al-Adha represents a significant occasion that embodies the principles of faith and strengthens values of tolerance, compassion, and solidarity within the community.

The Imam pointed out that this festive period serves as an opportunity to reinforce family ties and foster joyful moments for both young and old. He stressed that family unity is a fundamental pillar of a cohesive and loving society, and that a mindful family nurtures a generation grounded in values and ethics.

In conclusion, he prayed for the protection of the United Arab Emirates and its wise leadership under His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, asking for continued safety, security, prosperity, and stability for its people. He also remembered the souls of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and other founding leaders, praying that they find peace in paradise and that the nation’s martyrs receive divine mercy.

After the Eid prayer, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan received numerous well-wishers at the Majlis in Madinat Zayed, who came to extend their congratulations on this joyous occasion.

He graciously accepted greetings from senior officials, military and police officers, as well as citizens and residents, who expressed their heartfelt wishes and congratulations.
