Impressive Ramayana First Cut Receives Accolades at LA Premiere

The pre-wedding festivities for actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have kicked off in Udaipur, featuring a series of celebratory events, including pool games and Japanese dinners. The couple’s guest list, comprising close friends from the film industry, has started to emerge as familiar faces arrive to join the celebration.

Vijay’s home was adorned with lights in anticipation of the wedding, which was formally announced recently. Both actors were photographed departing from Hyderabad with Vijay’s brother, Anand Deverakonda, along with a few childhood friends, heading to Udaipur.

As the couple shared glimpses of their celebration in Udaipur, notable guests like director Tharun Bhascker and actress Eesha Rebba were seen arriving together. Stylist Shravya Varma, known for her close relationship with the couple, also joined the festivities.

Joining the gathering soon after were actor Ashika Ranganath and director Rahul Ravindran, who has previously worked with Rashmika on “The Girlfriend.” There remains a degree of anticipation regarding the full guest list for the couple’s intimate wedding, which is expected to mirror the exclusivity of their Hyderabad engagement.

Vijay and Rashmika first crossed paths while filming the 2018 movie “Geetha Govindam” and later in “Dear Comrade” in 2019. Although Rashmika was previously engaged to Rakshit Shetty in 2017, the relationship ended in 2018. Similarly, Vijay had a brief rumored involvement with a Belgian national that ultimately dissolved.

Despite their claims of friendship, fans began to observe their close interactions in 2020 as they spent time together at his home and on vacations. Relationship rumors gained traction in 2022, although the couple remained tight-lipped about their status. Their engagement took place in October 2025 at a private ceremony in Hyderabad, attended solely by family and close friends, and they officially announced their marriage just days ago.

According to reports, the wedding will implement a robust three-tier security system, managed by local authorities and security personnel flown in from Hyderabad. In an added measure of safety, an international security team will also be present. The couple is expected to follow traditional South Indian wedding customs, reflecting Vijay’s Telugu heritage and Rashmika’s Kodava roots.
