In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, awarded the title of “Outstanding School” to Attika Bint Zaid School from the UAE and Tripoli Al-Haddadin School from Lebanon, in a joint recognition during the ninth edition of the Arab Reading Challenge.
Each winning school received a prize of 500,000 AED, while Ibn Khaldun Primary – Al-Nafl from Saudi Arabia secured the second position and also received a reward of 500,000 AED.
During the ninth edition’s qualifiers, the Arab Reading Challenge recognized the winning schools as “Outstanding Schools” from each participating country. The list of awarded schools included: Fatima Al-Andalus School (Morocco), Bilal Ibn Rabah School (Qatar), and Ibn Khaldun Primary – Al-Nafl (Saudi Arabia).
Also recognized were: Al-Ittara Secondary School (Palestine), Belkhem Primary School (Egypt), Al-Abrq Khaitan Intermediate School (Kuwait), Al-Had Secondary School (Bahrain), Tripoli Al-Haddadin School (Lebanon), Al-Fajr Al-Hadith School (Mauritania), Attika Bint Zaid School – First Cycle (UAE), Hafeer Al-Mahr School (Tunisia), Qarqarah Intermediate School (Libya), and Al-Bayan Model School (Syria).
