The Israeli military has reported damage to underground centrifuge equipment for uranium enrichment at Iran’s Natanz facility as part of a series of airstrikes carried out on Friday.
In a statement, the military noted that “the subterranean area of the site has suffered damage. This section houses a multilevel enrichment hall equipped with centrifuges, electrical rooms, and additional supporting infrastructure.”
Furthermore, they added that “critical infrastructure that enables the site to continue its operations and allows the Iranian regime to pursue its efforts to acquire nuclear weapons has also been targeted.
