Four Palestinian civilians, including three from the same family, lost their lives today in Israeli airstrikes targeting homes in the Al-Rimal neighborhood and the Al-Nusseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Local sources reported that Israeli military aircraft struck a residence near the Martyrs Mosque in the eastern part of the Al-Nusseirat camp, resulting in the deaths of a man, his wife, and their infant child, according to the Palestinian News and Information Agency.
Furthermore, an Israeli drone targeted an apartment within the Al-Mumtazoun building in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, leading to one person’s death and several injuries.
Israeli military vehicles also opened fire intensively towards the eastern regions of Gaza City.
On Thursday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the total death toll from Israeli bombardments in the territory has risen to 52,760, with 119,264 individuals injured since October 7, 2023.
In terms of humanitarian conditions, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated on Thursday that Gaza has become “a land of despair, experiencing unprecedented hunger.
