Jeetendra Stumbles at Zarine Khan’s Prayer Gathering, Netizens React

Sussanne Khan’s mother, Zarine Khan, passed away on November 7, 2025, due to a cardiac arrest. Her last rites were conducted in accordance with Hindu traditions. A prayer meeting held in Mumbai on November 10, 2025, brought together several Bollywood personalities, including veteran actor Jeetendra, who experienced a minor accident during the gathering.

Jeetendra arrived at the prayer meeting dressed in a beige kurta and white shoes, greeting the media present. Unfortunately, he lost his balance at the entrance due to an elevated step, resulting in a fall. Video footage captured the moment of the incident, where three individuals, including a security guard, rushed to assist him. Luckily, he did not sustain any serious injuries and was able to stand up shortly after the fall, though he appeared startled. Concerned fans took to social media to express their worries, highlighting both his age and the need for extra care.

Prior to the fall, Jeetendra was seen emerging from his car, seemingly distracted by the photographers present. His slip occurred when he failed to notice the step while navigating towards the venue. Following the incident, many attendees including Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukerji, and Jackie Shroff were present at the prayer meeting held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Mumbai, displaying their support for Zarine Khan’s family.

Zarine Khan was 81 years old at the time of her passing, struggling with age-related health issues. Her funeral was held on the same day at Juhu Crematorium in Mumbai, where her son Zayed Khan appeared visibly distressed while conducting her last rites. Born as Zarine Katrak in Bengaluru, she was an accomplished model, interior designer, and actress, gaining popularity in the 1960s and 1970s.

Renowned for her ethereal beauty, Zarine Khan was among the pioneering figures in the Indian fashion and advertising industry. She starred in several Hindi films, including “Tere Ghar Ke Samne” (1963) opposite Dev Anand. In addition to her film career, Zarine authored cookbooks and lifestyle articles. She is often remembered not only for her professional achievements but also as the wife of Sanjay Khan.

The legacy of Zarine Khan continues through the memories of her contributions to the arts and her family. As those who knew her mourn her loss, the Bollywood community has shown its solidarity in honoring her memory.
