His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, reviewed the annual report of the Ministry of Finance for the year 2024. This report reflects a year’s worth of ambitious national efforts and documents the success of government financing tools, having launched 14 auctions under the Islamic Treasury Bonds program worth 17.1 billion dirhams.
He emphasized that the economic direction of the UAE remains steadfast in its development within a changing world, noting that financial decisions are well-considered and guided by wise vision and sustainable fiscal policies, carried out by young Emirati talents. This approach aims to reinforce the UAE’s position as a global financial hub.
On his official account on the platform X, he stated: “I reviewed the annual report of the Ministry of Finance for 2024, which embodies a year’s worth of ambitious national work and documents the success of government financing tools by launching 14 auctions under the Islamic Treasury Bonds program totaling 17.1 billion dirhams.”
