Mohammed Al-Sharqi Praises the Role of Zayed National Museum in Honoring the Legacy of the Founding Leader

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, inaugurated the exhibition “A Glimpse into the Zayed National Museum: Deep Roots in Faith,” organized by the Zayed National Museum in collaboration with the Fujairah Museum, located in the emirate.

The Crown Prince toured the exhibition, which highlights key narratives presented by the Zayed National Museum about the founding of the United Arab Emirates, emphasizing the social aspects that shaped its identity through the principles and teachings of Islam, and the formative years of Sheikh Zayed that molded his leadership character.

His Highness praised the significant role of the Zayed National Museum in honoring the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may he rest in peace, and celebrating his inspiring vision that embodies the values of Islam, national unity, and the commitment to building the nation’s unity.

He explored the different sections of the exhibition, which features archival photographs and films, as well as artifacts from both the Zayed National Museum and the Fujairah Museum that narrate the historical and geographical context of the spread of Islam. The exhibition also includes interactive visual and auditory materials, along with a segment showcasing the early years of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in Al Ain city.

Additionally, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Education and the Fujairah Martial Arts Club at the Amiri Diwan in Fujairah.

The agreement was signed by Salha Hamid Khalifa, Director of the Quality of Life Department – School Operations Sector in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and Nader Abu Shaweesh, Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, in the presence of Her Excellency Sarah bint Youssef Al Amiri, Minister of Education.

Crown Prince emphasized the importance of the memorandum in enhancing the sports sector through collaboration between the ministry and the club, as well as promoting health awareness among students in educational institutions.

He also highlighted the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, regarding the emphasis on physical education in schools, enhancing students’ quality of life, and nurturing and investing in their athletic talents.
