Mohammed Bin Rashid: The UAE Model as the World’s Best

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, has asserted that the UAE model is the best globally, following an unparalleled tourism performance and record visitor numbers. This statement was made in a post on his account on the platform “X,” marking his visit to the Arabian Travel Market 2025, which concluded yesterday with a record participation of over 2,800 exhibitors, making it the largest in its history.

In his post, he stated: “During my tour of the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, representing 166 countries and featuring 55,000 professionals from the global travel and tourism sector, I am pleased to share that the UAE has continued to achieve exceptional tourism results, welcoming 30.7 million tourists last year, with total tourism spending reaching approximately 250 billion dirhams. This year, our airports are also expected to welcome a record 150 million passengers.”

He further remarked: “There is a famous saying that people vote with their feet. When tourists choose to travel to your country, when businesspeople look to your nation, and when investors pour their money into your economy, we recognize that we are on the right path. We understand that our model is among the best in the world, and we congratulate ourselves, our President, and our people for making our nation a global destination, as recognized by the world.”
