Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During their meeting at the Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, Prince Khalid conveyed the greetings of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, extending their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE. In return, Sheikh Mohamed sent his regards to the Saudi leaders and expressed his hopes for continued development and success for the Kingdom under King Salman’s wise leadership.
The discussion between Sheikh Mohamed and Prince Khalid focused on the brotherly relations and collaborative efforts between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of strengthening ties to serve their mutual interests and fulfill the aspirations of their peoples for growth and prosperity.
Additionally, the meeting addressed various issues of mutual concern, particularly the developments in the Middle East and the ongoing efforts to maintain regional security and stability for the benefit of all its populations.
Present at the meeting were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense; Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and other key officials including Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President, and Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Head of the Strategic Affairs Office of the President and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office.
