Veteran actor Govind Namdev recently shared his experiences working with superstar Shah Rukh Khan, emphasizing the latter’s incredible work ethic amidst various health challenges. During an interview, Namdev recounted his time with Khan on the set of the 2000 film Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, expressing admiration for the actor’s exceptional dedication.

Namdev described Shah Rukh’s daily routine, noting his rigorous schedule. The actor reportedly works around the clock, averaging only three to four hours of sleep. He manages to fit in workouts, event inaugurations, memorizing dialogues, and traveling for performances within those limited hours. Namdev was astounded by Khan’s ability to juggle such demanding tasks.

The veteran actor also highlighted Khan’s ongoing struggles with serious physical ailments, specifically issues with his spine. Despite these challenges, Khan remains steadfast in his commitment to his craft. Namdev remarked that observing Shah Rukh’s dedication taught him valuable lessons about resilience and professionalism, as the superstar conceals his health issues while continuing to excel in his career.

In previous discussions about his work ethic, Shah Rukh Khan has expressed a deep passion for staying engaged and productive. He explains that long breaks disrupt his “state of mind,” prompting him to continually seek out new projects. His desire to remain active has been a consistent theme throughout his three-decade-long career, underscoring his commitment to his craft and creativity.

Looking ahead, Shah Rukh Khan is set to feature in his upcoming film King, directed by Siddharth Anand. This project marks an exciting moment for both Khan and fans alike, as it will also bring his daughter Suhana Khan to the big screen alongside established actors like Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan. Scheduled for release on December 24, 2026, King is already generating significant anticipation within the industry.
