Naureen Aslam Shares Her Thoughts on Aditya Dhar’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’

Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” a film featuring notable actors such as Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt, has recently garnered significant attention online. Released on March 19, 2026, the movie continues the narrative of ‘Hamza’, an Indian spy agent involved in a complex plot.

Naureen Chaudhry, the wife of the late police officer Chaudhry Aslam Khan, voiced her admiration for Sanjay Dutt’s performance in the film during a podcast with journalist Arvind Ojha. She emphasized how accurately the movie depicted her real-life experiences with her husband, stating that it mirrored their story closely.

Reflecting on her husband’s tragic final moments, Chaudhry recounted the day of the attack. She had just come home from the hospital when she saw him preparing to leave without proper protective measures. Despite her pleas for caution, he reassured her with heartfelt words before the fatal explosion occurred. The tragedy involved a massive blast from a vehicle loaded with explosives, leaving her with an instinctual feeling that he would not return.

Chaudhry also discussed the animosity between her husband and the notorious criminal Rehman Dakait, portrayed by Akshaye Khanna in the film. She noted that Rehman had acknowledged her husband’s threat to him and had sought her prayers for his safety. Chaudhry conveyed her belief that Rehman would be apprehended within two weeks, which proved accurate. The confrontation that led to Rehman’s demise was marked by heavy gunfire, with her husband ensuring that Rehman’s body was sent for a post-mortem examination.

“Dhurandhar,” directed by Aditya Dhar, stands out as one of the biggest films of late 2025 and early 2026, receiving extensive acclaim. Initially released in December 2025, it made waves on social media before its sequel debuted in March 2026. The storyline revolves around an Indian spy infiltrating a dangerous gang in Pakistan, focusing on themes of bravery and sacrifice.

The film’s impressive ensemble cast comprises Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and others. Notably, it has surpassed box office records previously held by prominent films such as “Baahubali,” amassing more than Rs. 1435 crore within just 13 days of its release.

Naureen Chaudhry’s insights into her life, coupled with the gripping narrative of “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” invite viewers to reflect on the film’s portrayal of real events intertwined with high-octane drama. What are your views on her revelations regarding the film?
