New Claims Suggest Multiple Kidnappers in Nancy Guthrie Case

Abhishek Bachchan has recently shared his apprehensions about the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), expressing concerns about its potential impact on the acting profession. Speaking at the ET NOW Global Business Summit 2026, he highlighted the dual nature of AI, acknowledging its potential benefits while warning of the risks it poses to creativity.

The actor pointed out that AI should be utilized with caution, stating, “AI scares me. It should scare every actor.” Abhishek emphasized that while AI could revolutionize certain aspects of the creative industry, misuse could lead to detrimental outcomes for actors. He mentioned that AI technologies could offer efficiency in behind-the-scenes processes, such as animation and special effects, ultimately saving time and reducing production costs. However, he believes that AI-generated content often lacks the human touch and emotional depth essential to artistic expression.

Furthermore, Abhishek addressed the broader implications of AI, suggesting it could disrupt various sectors, particularly medicine and law. He admitted to feeling uneasy about AI due to his limited understanding of its scope, stating, “I am going to be off the fence about whether it is going to be beneficial or not.” He underscored the importance of staying informed by continuously learning about AI developments.

In light of the growing presence of AI on social media, Bachchan’s views have gained relevance. Recently, fans showcased AI-generated avatars of the actor in an animated video for the song “Just a Boy” by DrINsaNE, featuring him in some of his renowned roles from films like “Guru,” “Bluffmaster,” “Dasvi,” and “Dhoom.”

On the film front, Abhishek was last seen in “Kaalidhar Laapata,” directed by Madhumita, which co-starred Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Daivik Bhagela. Looking ahead, he is set to appear in the upcoming film “King,” directed by Siddharth Anand, alongside a stellar cast that includes Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhay Verma. “King” is scheduled for release later this year and is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in collaboration with Marflix.
