His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, has arrived in Chongqing, China, for a work visit aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in various developmental and economic areas, as well as broadening the partnership between the Emirate of Ajman and Chongqing.
The visit includes several meetings and discussions with officials from different sectors and companies in Chongqing, alongside the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Government of Ajman and the municipal government, which aims to establish twin city relationships and collaboration in strategic fields such as economy, trade, education, culture, energy, and science and technology.
His Highness is accompanied by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Tourism Development Department, Sheikh Rashid bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Vice Chairman of the Ajman Sports Club, and a delegation of senior officials and business leaders from the emirate.
The Ajman government delegation will actively participate in meetings and related events during the visit, focusing on exchanging experiences and exploring joint investment opportunities to promote sustainable development.
Upon his arrival, His Highness was greeted by His Excellency Hussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi, the UAE Ambassador to China, along with embassy members, who welcomed him and his accompanying delegation, emphasizing the significance of this visit in supporting the growing relations between the UAE and China and paving the way for new local collaborative opportunities between cities and regions.
Chongqing, one of China’s largest provinces by population, plays a leading role in the industry, technology, and innovation sectors, making it an essential partner in advancing economic cooperation efforts between both sides towards new horizons.
