Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov issued a warning to NATO and the European Union yesterday, stating that any aggression towards Russia will be met with a “decisive response.” Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly, Lavrov remarked, “Russia is being accused of planning to attack NATO and EU countries.” He further emphasized, “Russia has never had, nor does it have, such intentions, but any attack on my country will receive a strong response.”
In related news, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukrainian officials are set to visit the United States this month or next for discussions regarding the purchase of weapons and drone production agreements.
Ukraine has prepared a list of nearly $90 billion worth of American weapons it intends to acquire. Zelensky mentioned, “In addition to the significant arms deal, which we refer to as the big deal, we have also discussed the drone agreement, and technical teams have already begun working on this.
