Dr. Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi, the head of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office, attended the annual event of the Sudanese Social Center in Sharjah last night, which honored outstanding Sudanese individuals and high-achieving students for the academic year 2025. The ceremony took place in the Al-Razi Hall at the University of Sharjah’s medical and health sciences complex.
The event commenced with the national anthems of both the United Arab Emirates and Sudan, followed by a traditional Emirati musical performance by entertainer Mohammed Hassan Al Jassmi. Attendees also viewed a presentation titled “Echo of Achievement,” which showcased the various activities and events organized by the center throughout the past year.
During the proceedings, Engineer Ahmed Omar Khogali, the president of the Sudanese Social Center in Sharjah, delivered a speech expressing gratitude to the nation’s leadership for their ongoing support of all communities in the UAE. He specifically acknowledged His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for establishing a solid foundation to promote scientific and cultural advancement, showing a consistent dedication to the growth of knowledge and scholars.
At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi recognized the achievements of distinguished individuals and students in various categories, including scientific research, media production, professional excellence, and graduate studies across different fields.
The ceremony also honored high school and university graduates who had excelled in their studies, alongside the winners of awards from the Sudanese Social Center in Sharjah.
