Sanjay Mishra And Neena Gupta Surprise Fans With New Looks For ‘Vadh 2’

Neena Gupta, a prominent figure in Bollywood, is currently promoting her upcoming film, Vadh 2, which is set to release on February 6, 2026. The crime thriller also stars Sanjay Mishra, adding to the film’s appeal. Recently, behind-the-scenes footage from a promotional shoot showcased Gupta and Mishra in strikingly different looks.

In a recent Instagram post, Gupta revealed a video from the Vadh 2 style shoot, where both she and Mishra appeared completely transformed. Their retro-inspired outfits, featuring a black t-shirt and a shimmering jacket for Mishra, and a stunning short dress for Gupta, captured the essence of their characters. The shoot was accentuated by a backdrop of disco balls and vibrant red fringe, enhancing the visual impact.

Gupta, in an interview with IANS, expressed her excitement about taking on a lead role in this film. She feels proud to have the opportunity to portray a significant character, highlighting the evolving roles for older actors in the industry. She stated, “I feel very good, I feel very proud that actors of this age also get a lead role to play. They can now not just support, but have a chance to carry a film on their shoulders.” Her sentiments reflect a broader shift towards more inclusive storytelling in cinema.

Vadh 2 is not a direct continuation of its predecessor but revolves around a compelling new storyline. It focuses on a retired prison guard, played by Sanjay Mishra, and a female inmate portrayed by Neena Gupta. Their paths intertwine as they confront a menacing adversary and navigate obstacles in their quest for justice. Director Jaspal Singh Sandhu emphasized that the film aims to provide a rich narrative filled with well-defined characters that elevate the viewer’s experience. He remarked on the morally complex themes that are explored within the film’s plot.

The film is produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, with Sandhu at the helm. Ranjan noted that Vadh 2 builds upon the emotional foundation established in the first film, Vadh, while presenting a new story. He emphasized the film’s unique quality, stating that it showcases remarkable senior actors whose performances reinforce the belief that powerful narratives can transcend age.

With the film set to captivate audiences soon, fans are eagerly anticipating what Vadh 2 will entail. The contrasting looks of Gupta and Mishra hint at a film filled with intensity and intrigue. As the release date approaches, many are curious about the film’s potential to engage and resonate with viewers on multiple levels.
