Karan Johar recently shared a delightful and humorous moment from his children’s annual function at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School. Captured in a video on social media, Kareena Kapoor was seen happily enjoying a large samosa, which effectively dispelled any speculation about her adhering to a strict diet.

In his playful commentary, Karan remarked, “This is what Kareena Kapoor does at the school function, eating a samosa. For all you people who think she is on a diet.” Kareena quickly interjected with a lighthearted “No, I am not,” as Karan proudly pointed out her snack choice, jokingly referring to her as his “carbie doll.” The exchange not only entertained those present but also resonated with their fans online.

The annual function was a lively event with several other well-known Bollywood personalities in attendance. Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai joined the festivities to support their daughter, Aaradhya. The gathering provided a platform for parents and children alike to celebrate with various performances and activities, fostering a sense of community.

Karan captured this enjoyable moment while celebrating his own twins, Yash and Roohi, born via surrogacy in February 2017. Alongside them, Kareena’s children—Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan—and Abhishek and Aishwarya’s daughter participated in the event, creating a heartwarming scene of young families coming together.

In terms of professional endeavors, Kareena Kapoor is currently engaged in her upcoming film, “Daayra,” marking her 68th project in a successful career that spans over 25 years. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, known for impactful films like “Raazi” and “Talvar,” “Daayra” is anticipated to be a gritty crime drama addressing themes of crime, punishment, and justice in today’s society. Kareena stars alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, with a release date set for 2026.

On the production front, Karan Johar is also focused on his latest romantic comedy, “Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri,” starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday. Directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, the film is slated to premiere on Christmas Day, December 25.
