Tomorrow, the United Arab Emirates will celebrate “Flag Day” with both official and community festivities; the national flag will be raised simultaneously above government offices and various buildings across the country.
“Flag Day” is an annual national event where citizens and residents of the UAE express their loyalty and belonging to the country and its leadership, while also upholding the values and principles passed down from the founding fathers.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, has called upon all citizens, residents, and institutions in the nation to display the flag on Monday, November 3, at precisely 11 AM, as a symbol of unity and dedication to the nation and its leaders.
In a post on the platform “X,” he stated: “Brothers and sisters, on November 3, we celebrate Flag Day, an annual occasion to renew our pledge, express our loyalty, and foster our love for the banner of our state, a symbol of our sovereignty and unity.”
This event embodies the spirit of coexistence and peace among the nation’s residents, reinforcing the image of the UAE as a beacon of tolerance and harmony in the region. Men, women, youth, and children from all nationalities will join in this special day, showcasing their love for the UAE through various expressions.
