Travis Kelce’s Next Chapter: Exploring Showbiz After NFL and Marriage

Deepika Padukone recently celebrated her 40th birthday by connecting with fans at a special meet-and-greet event. During the gathering, she expressed her enthusiasm for the romantic comedy genre, prompting fans to suggest potential co-stars, including her husband, Ranveer Singh, as well as Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan.

When asked about her desire to participate in a rom-com, Deepika stated, “I really hope very, very soon. It’s one of my favourite genres, both as an audience member and an actor.” She acknowledged that while audiences seem to be looking for different storytelling styles, there remains a significant interest in romantic comedies among her fans.

As the conversations flowed, some fans vocally supported Hrithik Roshan, while others playfully suggested featuring two male leads. The event’s host even conducted an informal poll on who Deepika should share the screen with in a potential rom-com. Although Hrithik and Shah Rukh received cheers, the loudest support was reserved for Ranveer Singh. Deepika humorously responded to a playful remark from the host, adding to the light-hearted atmosphere.

Deepika further commented on the current landscape of film production, noting the challenges in securing backing for lighter genres like romantic comedies. She posed a question to her fans regarding whether they would prefer her to star in a rom-com released on OTT platforms versus a theatrical release. The actress pointed out that there seems to be a lack of producers and writers committed to creating these types of films at present. “This is something that even my team and I keep looking out for constantly,” she said, emphasizing their ongoing search for dramas and love stories.

Looking ahead, Deepika Padukone’s upcoming projects include significant roles in “Fighter,” “Kalki 2898 AD,” and “Singham Again,” all slated for release in 2024. She will also collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan in Siddharth Anand’s film “King” and join Allu Arjun in an untitled project directed by Atlee. Notably, she and Ranveer welcomed their daughter, Dua, in September 2024, marking a joyful new chapter in their lives.
