Trump: Federal Crime-Fighting Initiative Will Expand to Chicago and New York

On Friday, President Donald Trump announced that Chicago and New York City would be included in the federal crime reduction initiative, which has already seen the deployment of the National Guard in Washington, D.C.

During a press conference at the White House, Trump stated, “We will make our cities extremely safe,” further adding, “I believe Chicago will be the next, and then we will provide assistance in New York.
