The United Arab Emirates continues to extend humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Today, it successfully completed its 78th airlift of aid as part of the “Birds of Goodness” initiative, in collaboration with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and with participation from Germany, the Netherlands, and France.
This shipment included essential food supplies prepared with the help of various UAE charitable organizations, aimed at addressing the needs of the Gaza population amid the challenging humanitarian circumstances.
With this latest airlift, the total amount of aerial aid provided by the UAE through this initiative has exceeded 4,044 tons, encompassing food and critical supplies. This demonstrates the UAE’s unwavering commitment to support the Palestinian community and bolster their resilience.
These initiatives underline the UAE’s leading role in international relief efforts, through the coordination of regional and global responses and the promotion of a culture of giving to alleviate the suffering of those affected in crisis areas.
