Among their most luxurious offerings is gene therapy, priced anywhere from $25,000 to over $100,000. The National Organisation for Rare Diseases highlights the high costs associated with gene therapy due to extensive research that ensures safe and effective methods. Another offering at Wellth is stem cell therapy, which utilizes stem cells to treat or prevent ailments. This approach is also applied to stimulate collagen for cosmetic purposes, with sessions costing between $5,000 and $25,000 each.

The concept of biohacking is gaining prominence in wellness circles, and while it may sound intimidating, Dr. Elie Abirached describes it as “the process of taking charge of your own biology to optimize your feelings, performance, and aging.” The founder of Limitless Human, Dr. Abirached elaborates that biohacking differs from traditional wellness practices by being highly customized, data-driven, and focused on optimization.
Biohacking emphasizes a “do-it-yourself” approach, encouraging self-experimentation to enhance health and prolong life. It is perceived as more accessible and budget-friendly, as many aspects of biohacking involve implementing small, incremental lifestyle changes. “Biohacking is often thought of as exclusive to the affluent, but in reality, several efficacious biohacks are free or low-cost,” he mentioned. “Practices like fasting, breathwork, exposure to sunlight in the mornings, maintaining proper sleep cycles, and simple bodyweight exercises all count as forms of biohacking that incur no cost.”
Dr. Abirached’s comprehensive program includes biological age assessments, wearables to monitor progress, recovery therapies, and personalized consultations, with costs ranging from Dh3,000 to Dh10,000. According to Dr. Shukri, longevity medicine transcends aesthetics; such benefits are merely side effects. “The focus of longevity medicine is to extend health benefits by decelerating biological aging, thwarting age-related illnesses, and enhancing overall vitality. While aesthetic improvements (like a youthful appearance, skin quality, and body composition) can be secondary outcomes of longevity treatments, the primary goal remains health-centric.”

This marked his initial foray into treatments addressing the root causes of his issues, yielding significant results. She also mentioned that artificial intelligence could transform the field by allowing highly personalized treatments aimed at disease prevention and lifespan enhancement.
She added, “Concepts such as ‘longevity escape velocity,’ where life expectancy increases more rapidly than time advances, may start becoming a reality, opening up new avenues for delaying aging.”
Dr. Badiani predicts that the UAE could establish itself as a leader in longevity science, investing in innovative healthcare solutions and crafting an environment where residents can not just live longer but thrive well into their later years. According to Deep Knowledge Analytics, the UAE’s longevity sector is anticipated to reach $23 billion by 2026, growing at a compound annual growth rate of 3%.
Meanwhile, CEO of Avida Longevity, Omar Geier, believes that current discoveries are merely in the early stages, emphasizing that the most effective longevity strategies today remain the simplest: adhering to a healthy lifestyle, ensuring quality sleep, and maintaining regular physical activity.
