Over the past week, four convoys loaded with various humanitarian aid from the UAE have passed into the Gaza Strip via the Rafah border crossing. This initiative is part of the UAE’s efforts to assist and support the Palestinian community during these challenging times as part of the “Brave Knight 3” humanitarian operation.
The convoys consist of 76 trucks carrying more than 1,419 tons of aid, including food supplies, medical materials, shelter provisions, and water purification items.
A team of Emirati humanitarian aid workers stationed in El Arish is overseeing the careful loading of the supplies and monitoring their transportation through the Rafah crossing to ensure they reach the intended recipients in Gaza.
This team is focused on all operational details to guarantee a swift and effective distribution of assistance to the Palestinian people.
The UAE has increased its humanitarian efforts since the ceasefire began, intensifying relief operations to support the Palestinian population facing dire humanitarian conditions. Since the reopening of the crossings, 325 trucks carrying 6,775 tons of Emirati aid have entered Gaza, significantly alleviating the humanitarian situation and addressing the needs of the most vulnerable populations.
The UAE reaffirms its ongoing commitment to support the Palestinian people and to alleviate the impacts of the current situation, standing steadfastly with those in Gaza.
