Splitsvilla X6: A New Season with Exciting Twists

The beloved dating reality show, Splitsvilla, returns for its latest season, Splitsvilla X6. Premiering on January 9, 2026, the show is now hosted by Karan Kundrra and Sunny Leone. This season promises fresh dynamics, as Uorfi Javed and Nia Sharma join the cast, bringing new challenges to contestants and viewers alike.

At the launch event for MTV Splitsvilla X6: Pyaar ya Paisa, Sunny Leone expressed her emotional connection to the show. She emphasized how Splitsvilla reflects evolving concepts of love and relationships, noting significant changes in dating attitudes over the years. This season introduces the ‘Pyaar ya Paisa’ twist, where contestants’ emotional bonds will be tested in new ways. Leone articulated her excitement, stating that viewers can expect a season filled with drama and surprising revelations.

Karan Kundrra echoed Leone’s sentiments, describing his return to MTV after six years as a “homecoming.” He viewed Splitsvilla as one of the channel’s standout shows, anticipating that the interplay between love and financial motivations would add an intriguing dimension to the format. Kundrra also mentioned that Nia Sharma and Uorfi Javed will act as mischief-makers, challenging contestants throughout the season.

The latest installment features 32 contestants, set against the picturesque backdrop of Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. Episodes will air every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 7 PM on MTV India and JioHotstar. Contestants will be divided into two groups: Pyaar Villa and Paisa Villa, fostering competition and strategizing among participants.

Among the contestants, single women include Akanksha Choudhary from Jaipur, Sadhaaf Shankar from Afghanistan, and several others from across India. The male participants feature Sorab Bedib from Gurgaon, Anuj Sharma from Haryana, and others joining the fray. With this diverse mix, Splitsvilla X6 is poised to deliver engaging entertainment for its audience.
