What to Anticipate in Episode 2 of ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Featuring Zendaya

The trailer for Netflix’s upcoming series “Glory” debuted on Thursday, offering a glimpse into a gripping narrative set within the Indian boxing landscape. This series intricately weaves elements of family drama, intense rivalry, revenge, and a compelling murder mystery.

“Glory” is the creative endeavor of Karan Anshuman and Karmanya Ahuja and boasts an extensive ensemble cast. Notable actors include Pulkit Samrat, Divyenndu, Suvinder Vicky, Jannat Zubair, Ashutosh Rana, Sikandar Kher, Sayani Gupta, Yashpal Sharma, Kashmira Pardeshi, and Kunal Thakur.

The plot centers around a troubled family rallying together after a savage attack on their daughter, Gudiya, alongside the enigmatic death of Nihal Singh, a young boxing prodigy. Suvinder Vicky portrays Raghubir Singh, a boxing coach, with Divyenndu and Pulkit Samrat taking on the roles of his sons, Dev and Ravi.

While the series does reflect the rich boxing culture of Haryana, Karan Anshuman emphasized that the storyline is purely fictional. He mentioned, “It is not inspired by any specific incident. No character of the show exists in reality. However, we engaged with various individuals involved in the sport, and this authentic backdrop informs the script.” He clarified that the narrative is not centered on any particular political issues.

Actor Divyenndu, recognized for his role in “Mirzapur,” portrays the character Dev, whom he describes as “pretty dark.” He shared, “It was not easy to portray Dev; the emotional intensity I had to maintain every day took a toll on me. But that’s the job.” Pulkit Samrat expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent boxing through film, considering it a rare and significant chance in his career.

A special event in Mumbai marked the launch of the trailer, where Pulkit Samrat engaged in a live boxing match against professional boxer Neeraj Goyat. The actor described this experience as “different,” highlighting the respect he felt stepping into the ring with a seasoned athlete. He expressed his appreciation: “Neeraj Bhai, thank you so much for being the sport. Thank you for considering me enough to stand opposite you for a fight for three rounds.”

“Glory” is slated for release on Netflix on May 1, promising a thrilling exploration of the intersection of family and sport.
