Who Is Carlos Alcaraz Romantically Involved With During His 2026 Barcelona Open Debut

Scorpions, the renowned German hard rock band famous for classics like “Wind of Change” and “Blackout,” has recently announced the cancellation of their much-anticipated “Coming Home” tour in India. This decision comes following unforeseen medical issues impacting band members.

Originally, Scorpions were scheduled to perform in several cities across India: Shillong on April 21, Delhi-NCR on April 24, Bengaluru on April 26, and Mumbai on April 30. The tour was produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, which was looking forward to bringing the band back to Indian fans.

The cancellation was confirmed through an Instagram post by the organizers, expressing regret over the circumstances. The message stated, “We regret to inform you that the Scorpions ‘Coming Home’ India Tour… stands cancelled due to unforeseen medical circumstances affecting the band members.” They extended apologies to the fans and assured that all tickets purchased via BookMyShow would be automatically refunded within 7 to 10 working days.

Scorpions, founded in 1965 by guitarist Rudolf Schenker, features a lineup that includes guitarist Matthias Jabs, vocalist Klaus Meine, bassist Paweł Mąciwoda, and drummer Mikkey Dee. The band’s previous visits to India include performances during their “Acoustica Live Tour” in 2001 and the “Humanity World Tour” in 2007, where they played in various cities, including Shillong and Mumbai.

Leading up to this tour, Scorpions had expressed their excitement about returning to India and reminisced about their earlier experiences. Matthias Jabs shared his thoughts, recalling great memories from their performances nearly two decades ago. He noted, “The audience is fantastic; it’s a rock audience and we have the best memories,” indicating the band’s eagerness to reconnect with fans.

As the band deals with these unforeseen circumstances, they remain committed to rescheduling performances in India when possible, ensuring that the connection with their audience continues in the future.
