Aaj Ki Raat from Stree 2 Hits 1 Billion Views as Tamannaah Bhatia Celebrates

Tamannaah Bhatia’s dance sequence in the song “Aaj Ki Raat” has emerged as a highlight of the horror-comedy film “Stree 2.” Having previously surpassed 500 million views, the track has now officially crossed the milestone of 1 billion views on YouTube. Expressing her excitement, Tamannaah took to Instagram to thank her supporters for their continued love for the song.

In her Instagram post, Tamannaah shared clips from the song’s shoot, writing in the caption, “From 1st view to 1 Billion Views! Thank you for all the love.” The clips show her checking scenes with choreographer Vijay Ganguly and interacting with the crew. One memorable moment included her humorous refusal to retake a shot after Vijay suggested it looked good but could be improved.

“Aaj Ki Raat” is a sultry dance number that showcases Tamannaah’s talents while exploring the themes of desire and distance in romantic relationships. Sung by Madhubanti Bagchi and Divya Kumar, the song features lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya and captivating music composed by Sachin-Jigar. Its appeal contributed significantly to the overall success of “Stree 2.”

“Stree 2,” directed by Amar Kaushik, stars a talented ensemble cast including Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. The film has performed exceptionally well, grossing ₹900 crore and becoming one of the biggest hits of 2024.

Looking ahead, Tamannaah is set to appear in her upcoming film titled “VVAN: Force of the Forest.” Directed by Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, this project will also star Sidharth Malhotra. “VVAN” is deeply rooted in Indian folklore, promising audiences a compelling narrative filled with ancient legends, hidden temples, and mysteries embedded in nature. The film is slated for release on May 15, adding to Tamannaah’s impressive roster of work.
