Allu Sirish Defends Ram Charan’s Attendance at Ayyappa Deeksha Celebration

Allu Arjun recently hosted a cocktail party in Hyderabad to celebrate the upcoming wedding of his brother, Allu Sirish, and his fiancée, Nayanika Reddy. The event gained attention when a video surfaced of actor Ram Charan attending while observing the Ayyappa deeksha, a spiritual vow involving specific practices and dietary restrictions.

During the deeksha, participants typically follow stringent guidelines for 41 to 48 days, including wearing black clothing, going barefoot, and adhering to a vegetarian diet that excludes items like garlic and alcohol. Those in deeksha are often referred to as Swami. Ram’s appearance at the cocktail party, where alcohol was served, raised eyebrows and led to discussions among fans.

In response to fan inquiries about his cousin’s attendance during the deeksha, Sirish clarified that Ram was present at the party only briefly, stating, “swami came before any of us touched alcohol. Wished us & left. Love his dedication to Lord Ayyappa!” This reassurance seemed to calm concerns from those closely following the event.

The cocktail party, organized by Allu Arjun and his wife, Sneha Reddy, featured several prominent guests, including actors Sreeleela, Faria Abdullah, Miheeka Bajaj, and others. Ram Charan attended the celebration with his wife, Upasana Konidela, and videos capturing their interactions with Arjun and other family members quickly went viral online.

Sirish shared his excitement about the successful event, posting images and videos on social media, expressing his gratitude towards his stylists and complimenting the wildlife-themed decor. He highlighted the joy of celebrating the moment with his soon-to-be bride and shared the aesthetic appeal of their outfits, which were all black, curated by designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna.

As for Allu Sirish and Nayanika Reddy’s wedding plans, Sirish announced their engagement in a private ceremony in Hyderabad on October 31. The couple plans to marry on March 6, coinciding with Allu Arjun and Sneha’s wedding anniversary. Their pre-wedding festivities commenced with a yacht party in Dubai, followed by a traditional pasupu danchadam ceremony in Hyderabad.

Sirish reflected on how he and Nayanika first met at a party hosted by Nithiin and Shalini Kandukuri for another couple’s wedding. He humorously remarked on their journey over the past two years, culminating in their engagement, indicating a deep and loving relationship that both cherish.
