Anupam Kher and Original Cast Return as Filming Begins for Khosla Ka Ghosla 2

The beloved Khosla family is making a comeback! Veteran actor Anupam Kher has officially announced that filming has commenced for the sequel to the acclaimed film “Khosla Ka Ghosla.” Through his social media account, he has shared glimpses from the set, showcasing both new and returning cast members, including the much-anticipated return of Boman Irani as Kishan Khurana.

In his posts, Anupam has shared behind-the-scenes photos featuring original cast members such as Ranvir Shorey, Parvin Dabas, and Kiran Juneja. He expressed his excitement, stating, “KHOSLAS ARE BACK AND HOW: I have been in movies now for four decades. But never have I experienced this crazy anticipation for the sequel of any movie as in the case of #KhoslaKaGhosla2!” His reflective post also invited fans to share what they believe contributes to the film’s enduring appeal across generations.

Boman Irani’s character, known for his distinctive charm, is also set to return for the sequel. In a playful teaser, Anupam shared a video of Boman practicing his iconic smile, stating, “KHURANA IS BACK….AND HOW. Iconic #KhuranaSaab has landed back in the lives of #Khoslas with his trademark #UncleJi menacing sneer!! Jai Ho!”

Additionally, the cast is set to grow with the inclusion of popular actor Ravi Kishan. Anupam welcomed him on his social media platform, expressing his delight at their reunion on-screen. He described Ravi as a remarkable actor and a person of integrity, stating, “Looking forward to our scenes together!”

The original “Khosla Ka Ghosla,” released in 2006, became a significant success, both critically and commercially. Anupam portrayed Kamal Kishore Khosla, a middle-class man navigating the challenges of reclaiming his family’s land from a developer—played by Boman Irani. The film received the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi, solidifying its status as a classic in Indian cinema.

As for the sequel, details regarding the release date remain undisclosed, but the film is under the direction of Umesh Bisht, promising to capture the magic of the original while bringing new dimensions to the story.
