Athiya Shetty Celebrates KL Rahul’s 34th Birthday with Wedding Memories

Athiya Shetty recently celebrated her husband KL Rahul’s 34th birthday with a touching tribute on Instagram. In her post, she referred to Rahul as “my person” and conveyed her heartfelt affection for him.

Sharing a series of cherished memories, Athiya’s post featured photos that captured significant moments in their relationship, from their wedding day to glimpses of parenthood. She wrote, “Happy birthday my person, love you so much,” alongside a collection of images that tell the story of their journey together.

The visual collection included a beautiful moment from their wedding, where Athiya held Rahul in a tender embrace. A black-and-white photograph also highlighted quieter times spent on vacations, showcasing the depth of their relationship.

One particularly touching slide depicted Rahul’s hand resting alongside their daughter’s tiny feet, symbolizing their life as new parents. The collection concluded with an image of their matching heart-outline tattoos, which serve as a testament to their loving bond.

In terms of background, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul first crossed paths in January 2019 through a mutual friend. Their connection blossomed, leading to their marriage in 2023 at her father Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala.

The couple welcomed their daughter last year, naming her Evaarah. They chose to reveal her name on Rahul’s 33rd birthday, sharing a memorable photo of Rahul holding their baby while Athiya looked on with love. In their post, they expressed, “Our baby girl, our everything. Evaarah ~ Gift of God,” and noted that her full name is Evaarah Vipula Rahul, with “Vipula” paying homage to her great-grandmother.

On the professional front, Athiya made her acting debut in the 2015 film Hero, where she starred alongside Sooraj Pancholi. She later featured in Mubarakan opposite Arjun Kapoor.

Her most recent project was Motichoor Chaknachoor, directed by Debamitra Biswal, where she shared the screen with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film tells the story of a 36-year-old man based in Dubai who is searching for a bride and eventually encounters his younger neighbor, who has dreams of marrying someone successful abroad.
