Chennai Home of Idli Kadai Star Arun Vijay Faces Bomb Threat Investigation

A bomb threat at the Chennai residence of Tamil actor Arun Vijay has created a tense situation, requiring a prompt action from local authorities, including the police and bomb squad. The incident began when a threatening email was received, raising concerns about the potential danger.

The threat was communicated to the Ekkattuthangal Police Station, which acted swiftly after they were alerted by the DGP office. The email warned about a bomb being planted at Vijay’s home, prompting a thorough search conducted by a bomb detection squad and police officials. Investigations are currently ongoing to trace the origin of the email.

Arun Vijay, celebrated for his contributions to Tamil cinema, has appeared in notable films such as “Yennai Arindhaal” (2015), “Chekka Chivantha Vaanam” (2018), and “Chakravyuha” (2016). His upcoming project is “Retta Thala,” directed by Kris Thirukumaran and produced by Bobby Balachandran under the BTG Universal banner. The film features a notable cast, including Sidhi Idnani, Tanya Ravichandran, Yogi Samy, John Vijay, Hareesh Peradi, and Balaji Murugadoss. The release date for “Retta Thala” has not yet been announced.

Arun Vijay is recognized as a versatile actor in the Tamil film industry, with a career spanning various genres including action and drama. Born on November 19, 1977, to veteran actor Vijayakumar, he debuted in 1995 with “Murai Mappillai.” Following some initial challenges, he gained significant recognition in the industry, particularly with “Thadam” (2019), which showcased his acting abilities and became both a critical and commercial success.

Additionally, Arun Vijay has ventured into Telugu and Hindi cinema, earning praise for his robust screen presence and commitment to fitness. He has successfully established himself as one of the most reliable figures in Tamil cinema.
