Deepika Padukone Praises Versatile Ranveer Singh as Dhurandhar Trailer Dazzles

The highly anticipated trailer for the upcoming film Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, premiered in Mumbai recently. The action-packed film features a star-studded cast that includes Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and others, revolving around the narrative of an undercover agent. The excitement surrounding the trailer has sparked positive reactions from both fans and fellow celebrities.

Ranveer Singh shared the trailer on his Instagram, declaring, “This time……it’s personal. #DhurandharTrailer Out Now! (Link in bio). In Cinemas 5th December.” Among the first to respond was his wife, Deepika Padukone, who praised his performance, exclaiming, “’The Chameleon’ is back!!!” Priyanka Chopra also expressed her enthusiasm with a simple “Woah” accompanied by a blast emoji. Other notable figures like director Zoya Akhtar and actress Yami Gautam echoed similar admiration, further contributing to the film’s burgeoning buzz amongst industry peers.

Dhurandhar is not only directed by Aditya Dhar but is also co-produced by him along with Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar under the banners Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The plot focuses on Ranveer’s undisclosed character, who is suggested to be a RAW agent. The stellar ensemble includes Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam, Akshaye Khanna as Rehman Dakait, R. Madhavan portraying Intelligence officer Ajay Sanyal, and Arjun Rampal as Major Iqbal of the ISI.

During the trailer launch, Ranveer expressed his pride in being part of such an ambitious project. He emphasized the film’s goal of showcasing Indian cinema on a global scale, stating, “It is an insane trailer. I’m proud to be part of this movie. I’m happy to be part of something where we are trying to push for something more.” With its scheduled release date set for December 5, 2024, Dhurandhar aims to capture the attention of audiences both domestically and internationally.
