Deepika Padukone Supports Ranveer Singh at Mumbai Eatery Amid Criticism

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were recently spotted enjoying a meal at Benne restaurant in Chowpatty, Mumbai. The couple, accompanied by Ranveer’s father, Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, shared a moment that was captured and posted on the restaurant’s Instagram page.

In the photo taken by Ranveer, both stars looked cheerful, with Ranveer dressed in a black T-shirt and white cap, complemented by dark sunglasses. Deepika sported a matching black T-shirt, posing playfully with a peace sign while carrying a beige bag and wearing her hair in a bun.

The couple’s appearance drew attention from fans, with one comment noting it was refreshing to see them together again after some time apart. Others expressed admiration for their happiness, emphasizing Deepika’s unwavering support for Ranveer amid public scrutiny.

Interestingly, this was not their first visit to Benne. In 2024, they visited another outlet of the restaurant, where Deepika, who was then pregnant, wore a stylish red gingham dress, while Ranveer opted for a casual white shirt and blue jeans.

In a recent outing, Deepika attended a concert by sitarist Rishab Rikhiram Sharma, joined by her sister-in-law and mother-in-law. She wore a striking red, gold, and black suit, showcasing her elegant style.

On the professional front, Ranveer Singh has been busy promoting his latest film, “Dhurandhar 2,” which premiered in theatres on March 19. This sequel follows the journey of an undercover Indian intelligence agent, highlighting his infiltration of Karachi’s criminal networks to dismantle a terror threat against India.

The narrative explores the rise of Ranveer’s character, Hamza Ali Mazari, within the Karachi underworld, detailing his transformation from Jaskirat Singh Rangi into a covert operative. The film features notable actors like Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan, adding to its impressive cast.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone recently concluded filming for “Singham Again” and is set to appear in “King,” alongside Shah Rukh Khan, scheduled for a December 2026 release. Directed by Siddharth Anand, this action thriller promises an ensemble cast, including Suhana Khan and Rani Mukerji. Additionally, she will star in Atlee’s major project opposite Allu Arjun, tentatively titled AA22XA6.
