Dhurandhar 2 Achieves ₹1032 Crore Mark, Surpassing Baahubali 2’s Record

Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller “Dhurandhar The Revenge” continues to impress at the box office even three weeks after its release. The film has surpassed “Baahubali 2,” becoming the second-highest grosser in Indian cinema history. It has also made history as the first Hindi film to surpass the ₹1000 crore net mark domestically.

Recent reports indicate that “Dhurandhar 2” collected ₹10.10 crore on its 20th day of release. Although there was a slight decrease in collections during weekdays, this figure has allowed the film to overtake the lifetime haul of SS Rajamouli’s “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion,” which previously stood at ₹1,030.42 crore. Currently, “Dhurandhar 2” boasts a total India gross of ₹1,237.21 crore and a net collection of ₹1,033.37 crore.

To secure its position as the highest-grossing Indian release of all time, “Dhurandhar 2” now aims to surpass “Pushpa 2: The Rise,” which has a lifetime collection of ₹1,234.10 crore. The film needs to maintain momentum over the coming days to break this record. It has already outperformed other major films, including “KGF: Chapter 2” and “RRR,” solidifying its place in the industry.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” serves as a sequel to the 2025 hit “Dhurandhar.” The narrative follows Ranveer Singh’s character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, as he rises through the ranks to become a significant figure in Pakistan’s underworld while working to dismantle a terror network. The film also features a talented cast, including R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sanjay Dutt, and has gained acclaim from various celebrities.

Cricketer Virat Kohli recently praised the film on social media, sharing his emotional experience after watching it. He described it as a groundbreaking cinematic achievement in India and commended Aditya Dhar’s talent. Kohli highlighted Ranveer Singh’s performance, noting that it reached a new level of excellence, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. The film’s reception continues to generate buzz, making it a significant entry in the current Bollywood landscape.
