Esha Deol Reflects on Her Beloved Dad Dharmendra’s 90th Birthday

Veteran Indian actor Dharmendra, who passed away at the age of 89 on November 24, is fondly remembered on his 90th birth anniversary. His daughter, Esha Deol, shared her heartfelt tribute on social media, reflecting on their cherished memories together and her commitment to uphold his legacy.

In her emotional Instagram post, Esha Deol included photos of herself with her father and expressed her profound love and connection with him. She wrote, “To my darling Papa. Our pact, the strongest bond. ‘Us’ through all our lifetimes, all the realms and beyond… We are always together, Papa.” She emphasized the depth of their relationship and her intention to carry him in her heart always.

Highlighting the invaluable lessons and love Dharmendra imparted, Esha noted that nothing could replace the warmth and strength he provided her throughout her life. She mentioned the precious memories of their time together, including his protective hugs and their shared laughter. Her words conveyed an overwhelming sense of loss as she expressed how much she misses him.

Esha concluded her tribute by promising to honor Dharmendra’s legacy. She reaffirmed his guiding principle of being humble, healthy, and strong, expressing her determination to spread his love to the many fans who admired him. “I love you, Papa. Your darling daughter, your Esha, your Bittu,” she concluded, emphasizing her enduring bond with him.

Dharmendra’s passing left a significant impact on the film industry, with many expressing their grief. Hospitalized shortly before his death, rumors about his health circulated online. However, Esha Deol and her mother, Hema Malini, reassured fans that he was recovering until the unfortunate news was confirmed. He was cremated at Pawan Hans Crematorium, with numerous industry colleagues, including prominent actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, attending the funeral to pay their respects.
