Jasmine Sandlas Praises Dhurandhar’s Shashwat Sachdev for His Intense Work Ethic

Dhurandhar The Revenge” has captured significant attention since its theatrical release on March 19. The accompanying music album, crafted by composer Shashwat Sachdev, has garnered widespread praise. Notably, singer Jasmine Sandlas contributes five tracks to this album and recently shared insights about its creation during a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia.

In the podcast, Jasmine expressed her admiration for Shashwat, calling him a “genius” and highlighting their collaborative freedom. She noted the importance of director Aditya Dhar, who allowed them creative space to develop the songs. This environment fostered creativity and produced an album they could both be proud of.

According to Jasmine, Shashwat maintained a unique morning routine where he would pray and compose melodies on his piano. This daily practice allowed her to align lyrics with emotional undertones effortlessly. She described their partnership, stating, “Shashwat and I can write a song in 15 minutes.” She emphasized the chaotic yet productive atmosphere they worked in, filled with a large team of editors, sound engineers, and other contributors. The tension of meeting deadlines only fueled their creativity, leading to the development of several remarkable pieces of music.

“Dhurandhar The Revenge” delves into the narrative of an Indian spy who infiltrates Karachi’s complex criminal and political landscape. The storyline interlaces various real events tied to geopolitical issues, including notable incidents like the 1999 IC-814 hijacking and the 2008 Mumbai attacks, culminating in a depiction of the high-stakes world of espionage.

The sequel further explores the transformation of Ranveer Singh’s character into Hamza Ali Mazari, showcasing his attempts to control the power dynamics in Lyari while confronting a terror network that poses threats to India. The film features intense performances, particularly a confrontation between Arjun Rampal and Ranveer Singh, while also boasting a strong supporting cast that includes R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, Danish Pandor, and Sanjay Dutt.

As the story unfolds in “Dhurandhar 2,” it reminds audiences of the persistent geopolitical tensions in the region and the complexities involved in combatting terrorism. The film not only entertains but also provokes thought regarding real-world issues and their implications.
