Jason Momoa Hails Shah Rukh Khan as a Superior Actor and Performer

In recent interviews, Jason Momoa has expressed his admiration for Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, highlighting their friendship and mutual respect. The two actors first met in 2019 during the Joy Awards in Saudi Arabia, where their crossover photo went viral and captured the attention of fans around the globe.

Promoting his upcoming film, The Wrecking Crew, Jason shared his thoughts on Shah Rukh Khan during an interview with Indian publication Pinkvilla. He described Khan as “extremely handsome” while reminiscing about their encounters and the admiration they hold for each other’s work.

When asked about their discussions, Momoa revealed that they talked about mutual friends and shared a camaraderie as fans of each other’s performances. He emphasized Khan’s gentlemanly demeanor and praised him as a superior actor, stating, “He’s a better actor and better performer than I am.” This sentiment reflects the genuine respect the two actors have for one another.

Turning to their careers, Jason Momoa has made significant strides in the entertainment industry since his debut in 1999 on Baywatch: Hawaii. He gained recognition playing Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones and later took on the iconic role of Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe. Recent projects have seen him in prominent TV series such as Frontier, See, and Chief of War, as well as major films like Dune and the recently released Minecraft Movie. This year, besides The Wrecking Crew, he is also set to portray Lobo in Supergirl within the revitalized DC Universe.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan stands as one of the most celebrated actors in Indian cinema, with a career spanning over three decades. Known for his incredible work ethic and numerous blockbuster films, he has garnered immense recognition, including a National Film Award for Best Actor. Fans eagerly await his upcoming film, King, which marks his return to the big screen after three years. The action-adventure film, featuring his daughter Suhana Khan, is set to release on Christmas this year.
