Kangana Ranaut Kicks Off Filming of Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata

Kangana Ranaut is making waves in the entertainment scene as she balances her political career with her passion for acting. The talented star has returned to the film set for her upcoming project, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, demonstrating her commitment to both roles.

Recently, Kangana shared a video on Instagram, initially posted by her production company, Manikarnika Films Production. The footage captures her arrival on set, collaborating closely with director Manoj Tapadia as they discuss scene setups and review the script before filming begins.

In her Instagram Stories, Kangana expressed her excitement about returning to the film industry by noting, “Nice to be back on film set.” The video features her in a light-colored suit, engaged in conversation with the director while holding script papers.

As of now, details regarding the plot of Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata remain largely undisclosed. The film was announced in 2024 with the promise of showcasing the incredible stories of ordinary individuals and their extraordinary accomplishments, with Kangana taking on the central role.

Kangana’s recent project prior to this was Emergency, a political drama that she directed and co-produced. In the film, she portrayed former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, focusing on the controversial Emergency period in India from 1975 to 1977. Despite her efforts, the film did not achieve significant success at the box office and featured notable actors like Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, and Milind Soman.

In addition to her work in Bollywood, Kangana is set to make her Hollywood debut. She has signed on for a horror film titled Blessed Be the Evil, produced by Lions Movies. This project will see her alongside actors Tyler Posey and Scarlet Rose Stallone, with direction from Anurag Rudra, who co-wrote the screenplay with Gatha Tiwary. The film follows a Christian couple grappling with grief after a miscarriage as they relocate to an abandoned farm haunted by dark secrets, testing their love and faith against an ominous force. This project is set to be presented to international buyers at the upcoming Cannes Film Market.
