Khushbu Sundar Defends Trisha Over Viral Photos with Vijay

Actor Vijay and actress Trisha Krishnan recently made headlines when they were spotted together at a wedding reception in Chennai, amid ongoing rumors surrounding their relationship. This public appearance follows Vijay’s wife, Sangeeta Sornalingam, filing for divorce and alleging an affair with an unnamed actress in her plea. The situation has garnered significant media attention, prompting reactions from various public figures, including actor-politician Khushbu Sundar.

In a recent interview with DeKoder, Sundar expressed her thoughts on the speculation surrounding Trisha’s appearance with Vijay. She emphasized the challenges of modern celebrity culture, noting that even minor actions could lead to public scrutiny. Praising Trisha, Sundar described her as one of the most dignified women she knows, highlighting Trisha’s gentle nature amid the swirling rumors.

Sundar also addressed the impact of paparazzi and social media scrutiny on public figures. She stated that the invasive nature of media in their lives can often lead to unfounded comments from viewers. She criticized the tendency of some individuals to derive pleasure from commenting on others’ lives, suggesting that many of these commenters have little understanding of the true circumstances. Sundar stressed the importance of not wasting time reacting to such negativity.

The attention around Vijay and Trisha intensified on March 5, when they appeared together at the wedding of AGS producer Kalpathi Suresh’s son. They were seen greeting the newlyweds and taking photos together, exiting the event simultaneously. This public outing comes just as Vijay’s estranged wife filed for divorce, seeking an interim order for residence in their matrimonial home in Chennai until the case is resolved.

Vijay and Sangeeta have been married since August 1999 and share two children, Jason Sanjay and Divya Shasha. Their wedding was conducted following both Hindu and Christian customs. As the divorce proceedings unfold, the spotlight continues to shine on Vijay’s relationship with Trisha, prompting ongoing speculation and debate about the intricacies of their personal lives.
