Mona Singh Reminds Gaurav Gera of NDA Regarding Dhurandhar Secrets

Actor Mona Singh recently shared her insights regarding the importance of confidentiality in the film industry, specifically concerning her friend Gaurav Gera. Gera, famous for his role as Aalam Bhai in the film Dhurandhar, received advice from Singh to remain discreet during the film’s production phase.

Mona Singh recounted that Gaurav was eager to share details about his character, especially after having waited 10–15 years for a major break. She reminded him of the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) he had signed, emphasizing that confidentiality should be maintained even in casual discussions. Singh highlighted the significance of respecting these agreements to protect both the project and personal interests.

Drawing from her own experiences, Mona reflected on her time during the shooting of Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, where her character’s identity was kept secret to maximize suspense. She advised Gera to exercise restraint, advising him to avoid posting pictures or revealing too much about his role ahead of the film’s release.

In the film Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, Gaurav’s character Aalam Bhai plays a crucial role as a handler supporting an Indian intelligence agent in Karachi. His character operates a local juice shop while assisting the lead, played by Ranveer Singh, in gathering intelligence. The sequel reportedly expands his involvement into significant anti-terrorism missions, making his role even more pivotal.

Dhurandhar has achieved notable commercial success, surpassing ₹1,013 crore in India and approximately ₹1,605 crore globally within just 19 days of its release. This accomplishment marks it as the first Hindi film to surpass ₹1,000 crore at the domestic box office, securing a position among the highest-grossing Indian films internationally and maintaining momentum weeks after its launch.

Mona Singh, on the other hand, has recently appeared in the film Maa Ka Sum, now available on Prime Video. She has also been featured in Subedar and the critically acclaimed series Kohrra Season 2, which is currently streaming on Netflix.
