New Insights: Namit Malhotra Teases Upcoming Ramayana Reveal on Hanuman Jayanti

Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated film, “Ramayana,” is set to unveil its next glimpse on April 2, coinciding with Hanuman Jayanti. Despite the expectations for an update on Ram Navami, viewers received no news from the filmmakers on that day.

Producer Namit Malhotra took to social media to express gratitude for the fans’ support and patience while announcing the upcoming reveal. He emphasized the commitment to faithfully adapt this revered epic, reflecting a deep sense of responsibility and care. The anticipation is building for the next teaser and celebration of the film’s progress.

The initial glimpse of “Ramayana” was shared on July 3, 2025, portraying a dramatic contrast between Yash, who embodies an intense Ravana, and Ranbir Kapoor, depicting a tranquil Lord Rama. This teaser also featured key divine figures, hinting at the film’s rich mythological backdrop. Dynamic visuals showcased Rama preparing for an epic confrontation, capturing the essence of this legendary tale.

In addition to its compelling narrative, “Ramayana” boasts an impressive cast. Ranbir Kapoor takes on the role of Lord Rama, while Yash plays Ravana. The film also stars Sai Pallavi as Sita, with Ravi Dubey and Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. The musical score features collaboration between legendary composers Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman, promising a memorable auditory experience.

Scheduled for a worldwide release in October 2026, just in time for Diwali, “Ramayana” aims to present a grand interpretation of the ancient text, inviting audiences into its timeless story.
