Pamela Anderson has recently expressed her lingering feelings about Seth Rogen, four years after he produced a series about her life without her consent. In a conversation with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, she shared her discomfort following an encounter with Rogen at the Golden Globes.
Reflecting on the moment, Pamela stated, “Seth Rogen… he did ‘Pam & Tommy’ without talking to me. I just felt like ugh. How can someone make a TV series out of difficult times in your life? And I am living, breathing human being over here.” Despite the close proximity at the awards, she felt it was inappropriate for him to have portrayed such personal struggles without her involvement.
Pamela pointed out that her busy career—with five films completed in the past year—does not overshadow the emotional impact of watching someone recreate her hardships. She described the feelings of discomfort as “a little yucky,” emphasizing the importance of privacy for public figures regarding their most personal tragedies. She hopes that Rogen will eventually reach out to apologize, acknowledging that, while it may not matter much, it would still be a step towards resolution.
She also noted that while she did not confront Rogen directly at the event, she mentally expressed her thoughts about the situation, highlighting the complexities of celebrity life and personal boundaries.
The series in question, Hulu’s “Pam & Tommy,” revisits the scandal surrounding the infamous sex tape featuring Pamela Anderson and her then-husband, Tommy Lee. Starring Lily James as Anderson and Sebastian Stan as Lee, with Rogen portraying Rand Gauthier—the man who stole the tape—the show gained significant attention, earning ten Emmy nominations, including for Outstanding Limited Series, following its release in 2022.
