A police case has been filed against Lulu Mall and the event organizers following a chaotic incident during the launch of a song from the film The Raja Saab. The event, which took place in Hyderabad, turned tumultuous when actress Nidhhi Agerwal was surrounded by an overzealous crowd eager to take selfies.
On Wednesday, the song “Sahana Sahana” was launched amid a large gathering at Lulu Mall. However, the situation escalated quickly, leading to Nidhhi being pushed and shoved as she attempted to navigate through the throngs of fans. Videos from the event circulated online, highlighting her distress during the encounter.
The police took action after the incident received significant media attention. A case was filed against both the management of Lulu Mall and the event organizers for conducting the gathering without the necessary permissions. According to an official from the KPHB police station, the lack of approval was a key factor in the decision to register the case.
Initially scheduled for 5 PM, the event was delayed significantly, similar to many Telugu film events. This created an environment where a large crowd amassed long before the planned start, contributing to the chaotic scene. Footage recorded early in the event showed the overwhelming turnout, indicating that the organizers may have underestimated the level of public interest.
In the viral clips, Nidhhi can be seen trying to protect herself from the crowd, with her security team struggling to manage the situation. Despite their efforts to escort her to her vehicle, she appeared visibly upset and overwhelmed. Up to this point, Nidhhi has not publicly commented on the incident.
Other notable figures were present at the event, including actors Prabhas and Riddhi Kumar, as well as director Maruthi and music composer Thaman. The incident has sparked conversations about the need for stricter regulations regarding celebrity events to ensure safety for both attendees and the stars themselves.
