Ram Charan Makes First Public Appearance with Eye Bandage Before Birthday

Actor Ram Charan recently experienced an injury while filming an action sequence for the upcoming sports drama “Peddi,” directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The actor underwent minor surgery and promptly returned to the set on Thursday, appearing cheerful despite the injury situation.

Ram Charan’s team released a video of him interacting with fans while wearing a bandage above his eye, dressed in his signature Ayyappa mala—black attire complemented by Rudraksha beads. Although the bandage was visible, he seemed unfazed by it, engaging with supporters who cheered and took selfies with him. Security personnel managed the crowd, ensuring fans maintained a safe distance.

Fans expressed their excitement on social media after meeting Ram. One enthusiast shared a video with the caption “Dream completed,” showcasing a setup where a tent had been arranged for fans on the “Peddi” set. As Ram stepped out of his car, he graciously acknowledged the cheering fans by lifting his lungi. The actor took time to greet numerous admirers lined up to wish him a happy birthday, which he will celebrate on March 27 when he turns 41.

According to sources, Ram sustained his injury while performing an action scene for “Peddi,” requiring four stitches. Despite this, he continued his work without taking a break. His team clarified that his eye was not severely injured, countering rumors of a more serious situation.

During a press conference in Tirupati, Ram’s cousin, Niharika Konidela, appeared visibly disturbed upon learning about the incident. A reporter informed her about Ram’s “accident” on set, prompting a spontaneous reaction filled with concern. She expressed disbelief that she had not been informed sooner, revealing that she was unaware of the situation because she had just arrived from a flight.

Later in the day, the “Peddi” team officially acknowledged Ram’s injury, categorizing it as a “minor injury to the left eye.” Actor Chiranjeevi extended his gratitude towards the medical team, specifically Dr. Sudhakar Prasad, who performed the surgery. He praised the doctor’s timely and skilled work, emphasizing the relief brought by the precision and care demonstrated during the procedure.

Overall, while Ram Charan faced a challenging moment on set, his return and interactions with fans showcased his dedication to both his craft and his supporters.
