Saba Azad Admitted to Hospital Due to Parasitic Infection, Hritik Offers Support

Saba Azad, the well-known actor, has recently been hospitalized after contracting a parasitic infection caused by Cyclospora cayetanensis. In a candid Instagram post, she shared a photo of herself in a large hospital bed, describing the past two weeks as the “worst 14 days” of her life. She expressed gratitude for the support of her partner, Hrithik Roshan, during this challenging time.

In her post, Saba detailed her experience with the illness, saying, “For someone who only ever eats home food, carries her water bottle everywhere, this bug came out of nowhere.” She also mentioned significant weight loss, noting that she had lost 4 kilograms in two weeks and was feeling weak and unable to walk properly. The infection struck right at a busy time in her life, adding to her frustration.

Saba emphasized the importance of food safety, urging her followers to thoroughly wash their fruits and vegetables. Sharing her workout routine, she lamented how her strength diminished dramatically. “One day I’m training twice a day,” she recalled, “and the next I’m half my size, without strength to lift a goddamn toothpick.” In her closing thoughts, she offered a practical tip for washing vegetables, recommending the use of baking soda or a trusted veggie wash.

Throughout her hospitalization, Hrithik Roshan has been by her side, helping to keep her spirits up, as she acknowledged with a playful remark about a “camera emoji.” Saba reassured her fans that while she may appear small in her photo, it’s largely because of the oversized hospital bed and the angle of the shot.

Turning to the personal background of Saba and Hrithik, Roshan was previously married to Sussanne Khan from 2000 until their amicable divorce in 2014. They share two sons and have maintained a friendly co-parenting relationship. Since 2022, Saba and Hrithik have been in a romantic relationship and celebrated their fourth anniversary in October 2025, often spotted together in public, including at high-profile events.

Aside from his personal life, Hrithik is also making strides in his professional career as he prepares to take on directing duties for Krrish 4 and produce a web series titled Storm for Prime Video.
