Salman Khan Defends Bigg Boss 19 Amidst Baseer Ali’s Criticism

The grand finale of Bigg Boss 19 was filled with Salman Khan’s signature humor, as he kicked off the event by addressing the top five contestants and confronting former housemate Baseer Ali for his critical remarks about the show. Baseer had alleged that the show exhibited bias against him and sidelined his presence.

Salman directly challenged Baseer’s assertions following his eviction, stating, “Even after leaving this house, he was still playing Bigg Boss outside. We gave you the opportunity, but your fans didn’t support you.” This comment underscored Salman’s point that the voting results reflected Baseer’s lack of support.

In response to Salman’s critiques, Baseer acknowledged the journey he had on the show but appeared to maintain his grievances. He expressed a sense of obligation and gratitude for the experience while refraining from fully addressing Salman’s points.

The host continued to express disbelief at Baseer’s criticisms, particularly regarding the platform that Bigg Boss provided him. He highlighted that if Baseer had been genuinely upset, he wouldn’t have participated in the finale. Salman reiterated that the elimination was not a consequence of bias but rather a reflection of the viewer votes, challenging Baseer to confront the reality of his situation.

Before his eviction, Baseer had been vocal about his dissatisfaction, claiming favoritism towards contestant Gaurav Khanna, and lamenting his limited screen time on Weekend Ka Vaar. He insisted his elimination could not have been due to low votes, raising questions about the show’s fairness.

The finale also featured Salman singing and entertaining the audience with his performance of “Mera Hi Jalwa.” He humorously ribbed the finalists—Gaurav Khanna, Tanya Mittal, Farrhana Bhatt, Amaal Mallik, and Pranit More. The episode included appearances by Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday to promote their new film. The announcement of the winner is anticipated to be a highlight, with the episode currently available for streaming on JioHotstar.
