Varun Tej Shares Positive Health Update Following Knee Surgery

Actor Varun Tej is currently on the mend following a knee fracture he sustained during training for his upcoming film, Bhari. After undergoing a minor surgery, he has provided updates on his health, reassuring his fans and expressing gratitude for their support.

In a recent note shared on social media, Varun confirmed that the surgery was successful and he is now focused on his recovery. He expressed his appreciation to those who reached out with concern, stating, “Thank you to everyone who reached out with concern and support. It truly means a lot. The procedure went well, and I am focused on recovery and getting back to full strength. Grateful to my doctors for their care and guidance.” He remains optimistic, concluding, “I’ll be back in action soon… stronger than before.”

Niharika Konidela, Varun’s sister, provided further updates regarding his well-being on her Instagram account. She emphasized that Varun is recovering well under medical supervision. In her statement, she shared, “We would like to inform everyone that my brother, Varun Tej, recently sustained a severe knee fracture while practicing volleyball for our upcoming film Bhari. He has successfully undergone surgery, and the procedure went well. He is currently recovering under medical supervision.”

Niharika also expressed hope for his swift recovery, thanking fans for their love and support during this challenging time. However, she did not specify when Varun might return to work on Bhari.

Varun Tej has a notable career spanning 12 years, making his acting debut in the film Mukunda in 2014. Since then, he has participated in various successful projects such as Loafer, Mister, Fidaa, and Tholi Prema. His upcoming film, Bhari, is described as a sports-driven drama and is currently in production.

In addition to Bhari, Varun is set to appear in another project titled Korean Kanakaraju. His sister Niharika is also involved in production, having previously worked on Committee Kurrollu and supporting the film Raakaasaa, which received a mixed response at the box office. This collaboration for Bhari marks another chapter in their professional relationship.
